Lucky Orange Pricing 2026: Every Plan, Cost and the Session Math
Lucky Orange’s 2026 pricing runs from $32/mo to $839/mo on annual billing, metered by monthly sessions: Build at 3,500, Grow at 10,000, Expand from 50,000, Scale from 300,000, and a custom Enterprise tier above 700,000.(source) There is no free plan, only a 7-day trial.
The number that actually decides what you pay, though, is not on the pricing page. Lucky Orange bills by session, and most Shopify-native tools bill by pageview. Those are different units, and if you compare the sticker prices without converting between them you will get the answer wrong by a factor of roughly three. Here is the full breakdown, the conversion math, and where the curve gets steep.
The 2026 Lucky Orange pricing table
Annual billing (the prices shown by default, at a stated 20% discount):
| Plan | Annual price | Monthly sessions |
|---|---|---|
| Build | $32/mo | Up to 3,500 |
| Grow | $72/mo | Up to 10,000 |
| Expand | $199/mo | From 50,000 |
| Scale | $839/mo | From 300,000 |
| Enterprise | Custom | 700,000+ |

The plan-comparison table further down their page lists monthly-billing prices for three of those tiers: Build $39/mo, Expand $249/mo, Scale $1,049/mo. Grow’s monthly price is not published there, so if you want Grow without committing to a year, ask before you assume it follows the same ratio (the Build tier’s annual saving works out closer to 18% than the advertised 20%).
Every tier includes the same feature set. Lucky Orange’s pitch is “Every feature. Every plan.”, and it holds up: you are buying volume, not capability. Three things sit outside that:
- Discovery AI is an add-on rather than an included feature on the tiers shown in their comparison table.
- Data storage starts at 60 days on every plan, with paid upgrades to 90, 180 or 365 days.
- Extra websites are charged per site rather than bundled.
Sessions vs pageviews: the conversion you have to do
This is the part worth slowing down on, because it is where most side-by-side comparisons quietly break.
A session is one visit, which usually spans several pageviews. Littledata’s benchmark of 2,800 Shopify sites puts the average at 2.8 pages per session for Shopify specifically.(source) So:
Approximate pageviews = monthly sessions x your pages per session
At the Shopify average, Lucky Orange’s 10,000-session Grow plan is roughly 28,000 pageviews of equivalent volume. Its 50,000-session Expand plan is roughly 140,000.
Use your own number, not the average. Shopify Analytics reports sessions and pageviews directly, and the ratio varies a lot by store type: a single-product store with a fast path to checkout might run 1.8, while a content-heavy store with a big blog and a deep catalogue can push past 5. That ratio is the single biggest variable in any cross-tool price comparison, and it moves the answer more than any discount either vendor offers.
Where the curve gets steep
The jump from Grow to Expand is the one to plan for. You go from 10,000 sessions to 50,000, a 5x volume increase, for a 2.8x price increase ($72 to $199 annual). That is good value if you need 50,000 sessions. If you need 15,000, you are paying for 35,000 you will not use, because there is no tier between them.
The same shape repeats between Expand and Scale: 50,000 to 300,000 sessions (6x) for $199 to $839 (4.2x). Lucky Orange’s tiers are wide, which is generous in the middle of a band and expensive at the bottom of one. Work out which end of a tier you sit at before committing to twelve months.
Lucky Orange vs Propel Replays, tier by tier
Propel Replays meters pageviews, so the table below converts Lucky Orange’s session allowances at the Shopify average of 2.8 pages per session, then picks the Propel plan that covers the result. Both columns use annual pricing.
| Lucky Orange tier | Sessions | ≈ Pageviews | Propel plan that covers it | Propel annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Build $32/mo | 3,500 | ~9,800 | Basic (20,000 pv) | $7.43/mo |
| Grow $72/mo | 10,000 | ~28,000 | Plus (40,000 pv) | $14.92/mo |
| Expand $199/mo | 50,000 | ~140,000 | Enterprise (140,000 pv) | $74.92/mo |
| Scale $839/mo | 300,000 | ~840,000 | Enterprise (840,000 pv) | $599.92/mo |
Propel’s Enterprise tier starts at 100,000 pageviews and adds capacity in 10,000-pageview steps, which is how the two middle rows are calculated.
The honest read on that table: the multiple collapses as you grow. At entry volume Propel is roughly 5x cheaper, at Grow-equivalent volume about 7x, but by the Scale tier it is only about 1.6x. If you are a large store, the pricing argument for switching gets a lot weaker, and you should be choosing on fit rather than cost. We would rather say that here than have you work it out after signing.
Two more things the table does not capture:
- Neither AI feature is free. Lucky Orange sells Discovery AI as an add-on; Propel’s AI Assistant is also a paid add-on, from $5/mo on Basic up to $20/mo on Enterprise. AI replay summaries are included in Propel plans and metered by tier, but the conversational Assistant is separate. Compare add-on to add-on, not add-on to included.
- Retention is a genuine Lucky Orange advantage. Storage starts at 60 days on every Lucky Orange plan with paid upgrades to 365. If you need to look back at a session from nine months ago, that capability is worth pricing in.
When Lucky Orange is genuinely the right call
We build a competing product, so treat this section as the one where we are trying hardest to be fair:
- You run more than a Shopify store. Lucky Orange is platform-agnostic. If you have a marketing site, a headless storefront and a Shopify shop, one tool covering all three has real operational value that a Shopify-native tool cannot match.
- You have a big team. Their comparison table lists unlimited team members on every tier it shows, including the $32 one, which is unusually generous. Tools that charge per seat get expensive fast at ten-plus users.
- You need long retention. Paid upgrades to 180 or 365 days are available across the range.
- You are already at Scale volume. As the table shows, the cost argument for moving is much weaker up there.
When a Shopify-native tool fits better
- You are Shopify-only. Being built on Shopify’s own primitives means replays can be filtered by Shopify customer fields directly, with no manual event instrumentation to maintain.
- You want to try before paying. Lucky Orange’s 7-day trial is genuinely full-featured, but it is 7 days. A free sampler plan lets you sit on real data for as long as you need before deciding.
- Site speed is a live concern. Propel’s theme app embed is measured at 0ms Core Web Vitals impact.
- You are at the bottom of a Lucky Orange tier. This is the clearest case. A store doing 12,000 sessions a month pays Expand pricing at Grow-sized volume, and that is exactly where the gap is widest.
The honest verdict
Lucky Orange is a mature product with an unusually clean pricing philosophy: every feature on every plan, no capability gating, unlimited seats. That is more honest than most of this category, and worth respecting.
The catch is not the sticker price, it is the unit. Session-based pricing with wide tiers means the effective cost swings hugely depending on where you land in a band and how many pages your visitors view. Do the conversion with your own Shopify Analytics numbers before you compare anything, and re-check it whenever your traffic mix changes.
