Mouseflow Pricing 2026: Every Plan, What It Unlocks, and the Session Math
Mouseflow’s 2026 pricing runs from free to $319/mo on annual billing: Free covers 500 sessions a month, Essential is $25/mo for 5,000, Advanced is $109/mo for 25,000, and Premium is $319/mo for 100,000. Paid on a monthly basis, those three paid plans cost $39, $149 and $399. Enterprise is quoted on request.(source)
Two things matter more than the sticker price, though. First, Mouseflow gates a meaningful set of features by tier, so the plan you need depends on which tools you want, not just how much traffic you have. Second, it bills by session, and if you compare it to a tool that bills by pageview without converting, you will get the answer wrong. Both are covered below, with the numbers pulled from Mouseflow’s live pricing page.
The 2026 Mouseflow pricing table
| Plan | Annual billing | Monthly billing | Monthly sessions | Websites | Funnels | Data retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 500 | 1 | 1 | 1 month |
| Essential | $25/mo | $39/mo | 5,000 | 1 | 1 | 3 months |
| Advanced | $109/mo | $149/mo | 25,000 | 2 | 5 | 6 months |
| Premium | $319/mo | $399/mo | 100,000 | 5 | 10 | 12 months |

A few details from the same page that are easy to miss:
- The annual price is the one shown by default. Mouseflow advertises “save up to 35%” for paying yearly. Worked out per plan, the saving is about 36% on Essential, 27% on Advanced and 20% on Premium, so the discount shrinks as the plan grows.
- Currency depends on where you are. The page shows the same figures with a dollar sign outside the EU and a euro sign inside it. A European store is paying €109, not $109.
- Paid plans come with a 14-day free trial, and the page also advertises a 14-day money-back guarantee.
- Users are unlimited on every plan, including Free. That is genuinely generous and worth weighing if a whole team needs access.
What each tier actually unlocks
This is where Mouseflow differs from tools that sell one feature set at every price. Here is the plan-comparison grid from the pricing page, trimmed to the rows that change between tiers:
| Feature | Free | Essential | Advanced | Premium |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Session replays | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Click, scroll and geo heatmaps | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Friction detection | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Mina AI | Yes | Yes | Yes | |
| Feedback surveys | Yes | Yes | ||
| Attention and movement heatmaps | Yes | Yes | ||
| Interactive and friction heatmaps | Yes | Yes | ||
| Friction insights | Yes | Yes | ||
| Form analytics | Yes | |||
| Data export | Yes | |||
| Open REST API | Yes | |||
| Connect with LLMs (MCP) | Yes |
Journey analytics, SSO, customized privacy settings, priority support and a Customer Success Manager are not ticked on any of the four self-serve plans.
The practical consequence for a Shopify store: if you want surveys, you are on Advanced at $109/mo at minimum, even if your traffic would fit comfortably in Essential. If you want form analytics or to export your data, you are on Premium at $319/mo. Work out the feature floor first, then check the traffic, because the feature floor is often the more expensive constraint.
Sessions vs pageviews: the conversion you have to do
Mouseflow’s own definition is that a session is a visitor’s full journey across every page. Tools built for Shopify usually meter pageviews instead. To compare the two:
Approximate pageviews = monthly sessions x your pages per session
Littledata’s benchmark of 2,800 ecommerce sites puts the Shopify average at 2.8 pages per session.(source) At that ratio:
- Essential’s 5,000 sessions is roughly 14,000 pageviews.
- Advanced’s 25,000 sessions is roughly 70,000 pageviews.
- Premium’s 100,000 sessions is roughly 280,000 pageviews.
Use your own ratio, not the average. Shopify Analytics shows sessions and pageviews side by side. A single-product store with a short path to checkout might run under 2, and a store with a big catalogue and a blog can run well above 4. The same Littledata dataset puts the best 20% of Shopify stores above 4 pages per session, and that is exactly the kind of store where session pricing starts to look cheaper than pageview pricing.
Mouseflow vs Propel Replays, tier by tier
Propel Replays meters pageviews, so this table converts Mouseflow’s session allowances at the 2.8 average, then picks the Propel plan that covers the result. Both price columns are annual billing.
| Mouseflow plan | Sessions | ≈ Pageviews | Propel plan that covers it | Mouseflow annual | Propel annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | 5,000 | ~14,000 | Basic (20,000 pv) | $25/mo | $7.43/mo |
| Advanced | 25,000 | ~70,000 | Premium (80,000 pv) | $109/mo | $29.92/mo |
| Premium | 100,000 | ~280,000 | Enterprise (280,000 pv) | $319/mo | $179.92/mo |
Propel’s Enterprise plan starts at 100,000 pageviews for $59.90/mo and adds $10/mo per extra 10,000 pageviews, with 25% off on annual billing, which is how the bottom row is calculated. On monthly billing the gap is similar: $39 against $9.90 at the entry tier.
The honest read: Propel is roughly 3.4x cheaper at Essential-level volume and about 3.6x at Advanced, but only about 1.8x at Mouseflow’s Premium tier. The larger your store, the less the price argument carries, and the more the decision should come down to which features you will actually use.
And there are features on the Mouseflow side of that table that Propel does not match today:
- Heatmap types. Mouseflow includes scroll and geo heatmaps on every plan, and attention and movement heatmaps from Advanced. Propel ships click and area heatmaps; scroll and movement heatmaps are on our roadmap, not shipped.
- Retention. Mouseflow keeps data for 3 months on Essential and up to 12 months on Premium. Propel keeps recordings for 30 days on every plan.
- Form analytics. Mouseflow’s Premium plan has dedicated form analytics. If field-level form drop-off is the question you need answered, that is a real reason to pay for it.
- Multiple websites. Advanced and Premium cover 2 and 5 website projects. Propel is installed per Shopify store.
The other direction:
- Free tier size. Mouseflow’s free 500 sessions (roughly 1,400 pageviews) is larger than Propel’s free sampler at 750 pageviews a month. If you want the biggest free allowance, Mouseflow wins that one.
- AI. Mouseflow includes Mina AI from Essential. Propel includes AI replay summaries on every plan, metered by tier, and sells the conversational AI Assistant as a separate add-on from $5/mo. Compare like for like.
- Surveys. Mouseflow’s feedback surveys start at $109/mo. Propel includes surveys, and even the free sampler gets one.
When Mouseflow is the right call
We build a competing product, so this is the section where we try hardest to be fair:
- You need heatmap depth. Scroll heatmaps on every plan and attention and movement heatmaps from Advanced are a broader set than most Shopify-focused tools offer today.
- You need history. Six to twelve months of retention matters if you compare seasons or audit a redesign long after launch.
- You run more than a Shopify store. A marketing site, a headless storefront and a Shopify shop can sit under one Mouseflow account on Advanced or Premium.
- Forms are your bottleneck. Wholesale applications, long quote forms or custom account signups are where Premium’s form analytics earns its price.
- You have a big team. Unlimited users on every plan removes seat math entirely.
When a Shopify-native tool fits better
- You are Shopify-only and small to mid-sized. This is where the price gap is widest, 3x or more at equivalent volume.
- You want surveys without jumping to $109/mo. Surveys are an Advanced feature at Mouseflow.
- You would rather not edit theme code. Mouseflow’s own Shopify page describes installing by pasting a tracking code into your theme. Propel installs as a Shopify theme app embed, with no theme.liquid edits, and is measured at 0ms Core Web Vitals impact.
- You want Shopify context in your filters. Propel replays can be filtered by Shopify customer fields such as order count, total spent and customer tags, and insight alerts surface unusually big orders, abandoned carts and abandoned checkouts so you know which sessions to watch first.
The honest verdict
Mouseflow is a capable, mature behaviour analytics product with a generous free plan and unlimited users everywhere. Its pricing is fair for what the upper tiers include.
The catch is that the plan you need is set by features as much as by traffic. A small Shopify store that wants surveys pays Advanced prices at Essential volume, and a store that wants to export its data pays Premium prices regardless. Decide which features you will genuinely use, convert sessions to pageviews with your own Shopify Analytics numbers, and only then compare quotes.
